To start off my return to blogging I’m going to share something I had a lot of fun working on. Those of you who know me, know that I love Adventure Time. My good friends (actually great friends!) Amber & John (aka Mom & Dad) do as well. I figured a perfect Christmas present would be Adventure Time related. They get an Adventure Time drawing and I get to draw something I love. Win-win.
I had really wanted to mess around with the characters a bit more and make them more “mine” so to speak, but I didn’t have as much time to work on this as I would have liked. Peebles is has pretty much exact to her character reference. BMO was my least favorite to draw, which actually made me sad. Haha. Jake and Marceline were the most challenging to draw and I still wish I had deviated more from their character models. Finn ended being the most fun to draw and my favorite (and yes that is his “like-like” sweater). And I really wanna make LSP more messy next time, like a purple version of Pigpen from The Peanuts. I had also wanted to draw: Gunter, Lady Rainicorn, Billy, and The Lich.
